My Story

I am a trained laboratory technician and environmental technologist, and for many years I have worked with hair and skincare products. It was through my previous work as a product developer that I gained knowledge about declarable allergens in perfumes.

I have always been fascinated by working with fragrances that do not contain declarable allergens. Finding just the right scents without them can be quite a challenge, which is why, in 2018, I decided to develop my own perfumes. It has been a long and exciting journey, and in 2020 they were finally ready to be presented.

I want to be transparent about my products and completely exclude at least 72 of the declarable allergens. My hope is that more people who are sensitive to perfumes will be able to tolerate the Honest Perfumes. At the same time, I strive to be as sustainable as possible — the raw materials and some of the packaging are sourced within Europe, but most of the packaging is Danish, and production takes place in Denmark.
