The key to testing perfume: Try one fragrance at a time

When you test several perfumes at the same time, your senses quickly become overwhelmed. The scents blend together, making it difficult to notice the differences.

Instead, choose one perfume at a time. Apply it in the morning and let it develop over a few hours. Perfume changes character as it warms up on your skin - and your experience of it often changes along with it.

Apply your perfume to get the most out of it

Apply the perfume directly to your pulse points — wrists, the inside of your elbows, or behind your ears — and let the fragrance develop naturally. Avoid rubbing the perfume, as this can disrupt the delicate composition of the scent. For longer-lasting wear, we recommend applying the perfume to moisturized skin.
